Healthy Hardware

Recent events have brought a series of niche products back into focus in regards to anti microbial hardware.
It’s important to note that nothing I know of has been tested against COVID-19.
However, these products, in different ways, have been tested against various microbes and under different circumstances with impressive results.
We’ve narrowed down solutions into four categories:
1) Push/pull plates made of the copper/nickel alloy by Trimco. This is not a coating. It is an inherently anti bacterial alloy. http://www.trimcohardware.com/products/healthy-hardware/
2) Marks Brand lever sets, mortise locks and panic bars with an anti-microbial coating. https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmarksusa.com%2Fproducts%2Flifesaver-series%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7Caae3f2f333ff484f82eb08d7f0550bc5%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637242120367779305&sdata=qRNcilSWXnj5HvC2tPL5RmP4J8OvZJwQ04DEL1aU21Q%3D&reserved=0
3) Trilogy locks push button locks with an anti microbial coating on the keypads.
4) Door operators with a “wave to open” option or standard “tap with your elbow” to automatically open a door.
Please let me know if you have a scenario that could be addressed by any of these.
We’ll be happy to help you explore these options more.
